Ureteroscopy
This is an endoscopic approach to the treatment of ureteric stones. The ureteroscope is
inserted under vision in the ureter up to the level of the stone. Any type of stone can be
fragmented without damage to the surrounding ureter. The fine stone fragments are
passed without any pain in the urine.
Advantages : No Incision, Hospital Stay of 1 to 2 days, Early return to work.
Even large Bladder stones can be fragmented endoscopically with the help of Swiss Lithoclast.

Percutaneous Nephrolithotrispsy
This endoscopic approach has revolutionized the treatment of kidney stones. Though a
small keyhole incision in the skin a nephroscope is inserted under vision in the kidney
directly and the stones can be fragmented
